Andrew Shalaby has been practicing law since 1999 in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has handled a variety of complex litigation
and bankruptcy matters. He is admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, and routinely
practices in the U.S. District Courts and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Andrew comes from a strong background as
a real estate agent and broker. He was a top sales broker for Mason-McDuffie Real Estate, and enjoyed his affiliation with the
East Bay's largest and oldest real estate firm from 1985 to 1994. Andrew's wife, Sonia, also became a broker and worked with
Andrew from 1990 onward, and is presently our senior paralegal and office administrator.
Andrew advanced to more specialized
transactions as a broker for Red Oak Realty from 1994 to 1999. Red Oak Realty and its partners specialized in large commercial
developments in Berkeley and the East Bay, and provided an oustanding experience and opportunity for Andrew during these enjoyable
years of a thriving real estate market.
In 1999 Andrew and Sonia started their own real estate company,
Shalaby Realty. We no longer handle real estate transactions. However, we have strong relationships with
some of the best brokers in the San Francisco Bay Area, and will usually refer real estate transactions to brokers specializing in
the appropriate areas.
